As many warehouse folk will be aware, Haringey Council have taken an active role in challenging warehouse living over the past 12 months. Are we residential? Are we live/work? What happens next?
Many local artists have been active in their depiction of the situation, not least the creation of the Heat Reactive Mural that explores the positives of a free warehouse community vs a regimented and ordered space.
As a key organisation working in the warehouse community we have met the new team connected with the Manor House warehouses, as managed by Provewell Ltd, who are going to meet with residents and businesses to hear ideas on how the area can be developed. This should be a great opportunity to get your voice heard and help shape your warehouse community as it moves forward.
Kicking off with a meet-up on Wednesday 26 November, at New River Studios, between 5-8pm – this is your opportunity to voice your ideas and learn more about some of the ideas for developing the area.
If you can’t make the meeting, but still want to get involved – email Pav Mann (firstname.lastname@example.org), who is leading the consultation.
