Celebrate creativity this weekend as the Manor Art Festival hosts a two day Arts & Music spectacular on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th of May.
Hosted by the residents of the Harringay Warehouse Community – this two day event will feature art, photography, workshops, talks, film screenings as well as live music, hula hoop, fire & dance performances. From midday till 11pm you can get involved in an array of free workshops in Origami, Hula Hooping, Feather Braiding, Stop Motion Film-Making, Dance, Henna Body Art + many more. The line up for the main stage includes festival favourites, The Vegetable Collective alongside Bitch Please, The Argy Bahji’s & Jackson Pope plus there will be a separate Open Mic for spoken word sessions, poety, comedy & book extract readings. On top of all this there will be film screenings from Kill Your Television & local talent as well as outside games throughout the event.
Open to all, entry is £3 for adults (under 12’s, £1) and will be held at The Omnitorium on Eade Road – a venue which was transformed from a derelict car park into a mini festival site complete with a double decker bus, 300 capacity tent & bar plus outside area with a play pirate ship.
