Aiste G, a warehouse artists from Fountayne Road, is the the first in a series of monthly exhibitions co-hosted by Haringey Arts and Manor House Development Trust, at the Redmond Community Centre.
Originally from Lithuania, Aiste has been based in London for the past decade. Through her art she is trying to break through the mass illusion of ‘existing normal’ by exploring her own imagination and translating every day experiences with added wonders of her own mind. Aiste was also one of the collaborators ‘Heat Reactive Wall’ installation on Overbury Road.
The Redmond Community Centre is in a stunning location, overlooking the New River, as part of the Woodberry Down housing development. Managed by Manor House Development Trust who have recently launched a new three years arts and environment strategy for the area.
Get the first seeing of the new Redmond Community Centre cafe and Aiste’s exhibition at a Private View on Thursday 16 October, 6-8pm. Free Refreshments for all and a great chance to find out more about Haringey Arts and our partnership with Manor House Development Trust.
