Over four days in April 2014, a fantastic home-grown film festival exploded in various warehouses around Manor House. inHOUSE Film Festival was an idea conceived by Alay Paun, Catwalk Place resident, and a group of other close friends. The festival featured both locally made and international short films, alongside a fashion night, music and an incredible fusion night that opened the festival.
Alay first approached Haringey Arts fairly soon after he started putting the wheels in motion. Staging an event of this scale, covering all of the licencing requirements and getting the promotion material out far and wide has it’s risks. Which is why Haringey Arts were really pleased to be able to secure significant seed funding to assist the launch of inHOUSE Film Festival and why we’re really looking forward to more inHOUSE events and a return of the festival in 2015.
